VISUALISE: Race & Inclusion in Secondary School Art Educatio
Authored by the esteemed Kevin Dalton-Johnson, Rayvenn De'Clark, and Sylvia Theuri, the Visualise report is a long-awaited research by the Runnymede Trust. This groundbreaking study reveals that a mere 2.3% of artists referenced in GCSE Art exam papers are from Black or South Asian backgrounds.
The Visualise report, a comprehensive and in-depth study, was launched at the APPG for Art, Craft, and Design in Education. This 119-page report, a collaboration between the Runnymede Trust and Freelands Foundation, is a rich resource of qualitative and quantitative data, making it an essential read for anyone interested in diversity and representation in education.

Please take a look at this when you have a moment. It may not be apparent from school curricula or the media that I created this piece almost two decades ago in collaboration with young people from Lancaster and other artists involved in the STAMP initiative (Slave Trade Art Memorial Project)—the Vision of Professors Alan Rice and Lubaina Himid (UCLAN). So please leave a review. It is the only one in the country that is by a Quayside. Thank you.
